Courage Over Comfort

Until the day I die,

at least

part of me will not

wish to venture outwards,

to learn and grow

risking failure or injury,

of body and mind

wrapped in discomfort

Confined in my room alone

I can bet on safely,

without challenge

But my life will always involve

encouraging the self

which fears and apathies,

to grow forward

into the unknown

unto love
